Green Tree Pharmacy has outgrown our building. We have been in our current location since 2000, but continued expansion of services has resulted in a need for more space. To that end, Green Tree Pharmacy enlisted the services of a professional pharmacy design company to draw up plans for a new building. Construction at the new site on the north side of Minonk is now underway.
The new pharmacy building will provide a number of features that will enable us to serve our clients more effectively. It will be 18,500 square feet, roughly 2.5 times larger than our existing building. Space is provided for automated dispensing systems which will increase both our efficiency and accuracy of packaging medications. We will also have a conference room for staff training and meetings. Additional room for preparing I.V. solutions will be available to accommodate the increasing need for those services. An extensive array of systems for communication, technology, and security will be employed for optimal operational efficiencies and safety.
We will be hosting guided tours for our current and prospective clients once we have moved in, scheduled for the week after Christmas 2011. We look forward to showing you this new facility, its automated systems, and pharmacy technology then.
Needless to say, we are excited about this new state-of-the art facility!
