Vice President Pharmacy Dave Wegman has been a Registered Pharmacist since 1977 and is currently serving as Vice President of Pharmacy Services for Green Tree Pharmacy. Dave has been with Green Tree since 1996, serving as Director of Pharmacy until 2008. Prior to coming to Green Tree, he was Director of Pharmacy at Apostolic Christian Restmor, another long term care pharmacy, for 10 years. Dave has also worked as a clinical pharmacist at the University of Iowa Hospital pharmacy for four years. He also worked as a pharmacist at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago while in graduate college.
Dave’s education consists of a BS in Pharmacy, an MS in Pharmacy Administration, and a Residency in Managed Care Pharmacy, all from the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy. He is also a Certified Geriatric Pharmacist and a Fellow in the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP). Dave is active in professional pharmacy organizations, including the ASCP and the Illinois Pharmacists Association. He is a past president of the Illinois Chapter of ASCP and Chairperson for the Long Term Care Section of IPhA. He has made several presentations at the state and national levels for IPhA, ASCP, and the Illinois Health Care Association and has served as a guest lecturer at the Chicago State University College of Pharmacy and the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He served on the Illinois State University Mennonite College of Nursing Advisory Council for their Expanding Teaching Nursing Home Project and the BroMenn Regional Medical Center’s Occupational Health Committee. He has also taught classes for pharmacy technicians at Heartland Community College in Normal, IL. and continues to serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students from seven colleges of pharmacy. Dave is currently on the Speaker’s Bureau for GSK Pharmaceuticals and is a member of the Long Term Care Advisory Board for Novo Nordisk. |

Assistant Director - Pharmacy Operations Neil Heineke is the Assistant Director of Pharmacy Operations for Green Tree Pharmacy, making him primarily responsible for the day to day operations of the pharmacy. Neil’s other responsibilities at the pharmacy include therapeutic interventions, special request medication profile reviews, Medicare Part D medication management, disease management interventions, and providing drug information services. In addition, Neil also serves as a pharmacy consultant for two of the nursing facilities serviced by Green Tree Pharmacy. Neil earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Butler University and began his employment with Green Tree Pharmacy when he was a pharmacy student in 1996. Upon graduation in 2002, he worked in retail and was a manager at a retail pharmacy in Normal, Illinois. He has worked for Green Tree Pharmacy as a pharmacist since 2005 Neil is a member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists. |

Assistant Director - Pharmacy Operations Jason Degenhart graduated from Butler University with his Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2002 and has since become a licensed pharmacist. He worked retail pharmacy before coming to Green Tree Pharmacy in May of 2005. Some of his responsibilities at the pharmacy include therapeutic interventions, special request drug reviews, Medicare Part D medication management, disease management interventions, drug information services, consulting, and advising Heritage’s consultant pharmacists throughout Illinois. He is also an active member of American Society of Consultant Pharmacist. |

Assistant Director - Clinical Pharmacy Services Mike joins Green Tree Pharmacy with 26 years of long-term care experience. He began his career as a consultant pharmacist with Enloe Drugs in Decatur and worked his way up to the Director of Clinical services responsible for 30,000 lives as well as 30 consultant pharmacists. In that position he was responsible for implementing clinical programs, consultant pharmacist training, contract renewal for pharmacy services and developing client educational programs.
As assistant director of clinical services at Green Tree some of his responsibilities include disease management, therapeutic interchange programs and advising Heritage pharmacy consultants throughout Illinois.
Mike earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from St. Louis College of Pharmacy and has been a Certified Geriatric Pharmacist since 2001. He has been actively involved with ASCP since 1997. He has also completed the immunization certificate program through APhA. |

Sales Manager Amy Aeilts is Sales Manager for Green Tree Pharmacy. She is primarily responsible for expanding the skilled nursing and assisted and supportive living facility client base by researching and educating facilities throughout Illinois on the advantages of Green Tree Pharmacy. Amy also increases the pharmacy’s presence in the marketplace by organizing and implementing participation in several, annual industry conventions and trade shows including LSN and IHCA. Prior to joining Green Tree Pharmacy Amy spent several years as a Sales Specialist for AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals and has held positions as Marketing Analyst for State Farm Insurance, Marketing Director of the Peoria Symphony Orchestra and Marketing Manager of the Peoria Civic Center. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College Chicago where she majored in Marketing Communication and interned in the newsroom of the ABC affiliate, WLS. Amy is currently a member of the McLean County and Peoria Senior Care Networks. |

Pharmacy Controller Tracy Schultz is the Controller for Green Tree Pharmacy. She has worked in the long term care pharmacy industry for close to ten years, all of which has been with Green Tree Pharmacy. Tracy is responsible for over seeing the billing of medications to the insurance companies, nursing homes and responsible parties. She is also responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, insurance coverage and reporting of medication inventory.
Tracy earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University in finance. Before joining Green Tree Pharmacy, Tracy worked for Hickory Point Bank and Trust, a division of Archer Daniels Midland Co., Decatur, Illinois. There she worked as the Assistant Vice President of Operations and also the Assistant Cashier. |
