David D. Wegman, RPh, MS, FASCP, CGP - VP Pharmacy

Dave Wegman has been a Registered Pharmacist for over 32 years and is currently serving as Vice President, Pharmacy for Green Tree Pharmacy. Dave has been with Green Tree since 1996, serving as Pharmacy Manager until 2008. Prior to coming to Green Tree, he was Director of Pharmacy at Apostolic Christian Restmor, another long term care pharmacy, for 10 years. Dave has also worked as a clinical pharmacist at the University of Iowa Hospital pharmacy for four years. He also worked as a pharmacist at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago while in graduate college.
Dave’s education consists of a BS in Pharmacy, an MS in Pharmacy Administration, and a Residency in Managed Care Pharmacy, all from the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy. He is also a Certified Geriatric Pharmacist and a Fellow in ASCP. Dave is active in professional pharmacy organizations, including the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists and the Illinois Pharmacists Association. He is a past president of the Illinois Chapter of ASCP and Chairperson for the Long Term Care Section of IPhA. He has made several presentations at the state and national levels for IPhA, ASCP, and the Illinois Health Care Association. He is also a member of the Illinois State University Mennonite College of Nursing Advisory Council for their Expanding Teaching Nursing Home Project, and is a member of the BroMenn Regional Medical Center’s Occupational Health Committee. Dave also teaches classes for pharmacy technicians at Heartland Community College in Normal, IL.

Neil Heineke, Pharm.D., Assistant Manager - Operations

Neil Heineke is the Assistant Director of Pharmacy Operations for Green Tree Pharmacy, making him primarily responsible for the day to day operations of the pharmacy. Neil’s other responsibilities at the pharmacy include therapeutic interventions, special request medication profile reviews, Medicare Part D medication management, disease management interventions, and providing drug information services. In addition, Neil also serves as a pharmacy consultant for two of the nursing facilities serviced by Green Tree Pharmacy. Neil earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Butler University and began his employment with Green Tree Pharmacy when he was a pharmacy student in 1996. Upon graduation in 2002, he worked in retail and was a manager at a retail pharmacy in Normal, Illinois. He has worked for Green Tree Pharmacy as a pharmacist since 2005. Neil is a member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists.

Jason Degenhart, Pharm. D., Assistant Manager - Clinical Services

Jason Degenhart graduated from Butler University with his Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2002 and has since become a licensed pharmacist. He worked retail pharmacy before coming to Green Tree Pharmacy in May of 2005. Aug 2007 he was promoted to Assistant Director of Clinical services and currently serves this position. Some of his responsibilities at the pharmacy include therapeutic interventions, special request drug reviews, Medicare Part D medication management, disease management interventions, drug information services, consulting, and advising Heritage’s consultant pharmacists throughout Illinois. He is also an active member of American Society of Consultant Pharmacist.

Tracy Schultz, Pharmacy Controller

Tracy Schultz is the Controller for Green Tree Pharmacy. She has worked in the long term care pharmacy industry for close to ten years, all of which has been with Green Tree Pharmacy. Tracy is responsible for over seeing the billing of medications to the insurance companies, nursing homes and responsible parties. She is also responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, insurance coverage and reporting of medication inventory.
Tracy earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University in finance. Before joining Green Tree Pharmacy, Tracy worked for Hickory Point Bank and Trust, a division of Archer Daniels Midland Co., Decatur, Illinois. There she worked as the Assistant Vice President of Operations and also the Assistant Cashier.
